Danielle McAlpine Johnson - Directing change for social justice

Danielle McAlpine Johnson is a Writer, Director, Producer, devoted to using film & TV as a catalyst for change in the social justice landscape.

With an innate desire to see the next generation rise up in their own identity, Danielle believes that every human being on the planet has a unique purpose and that relentless love & passion we can overflow in our lives if we choose to pursue that purpose.

Along with her husband, singer/songwriter Chico Johnson, Danielle runs boutique production house CheekyMac Productions who have recently premiered Beyond The Fire on Network 10 - a 7 part documentary series dedicated to Gippsland's unsung heroes as they recreate life from the ashes after the Black Summer Bushfire Crisis. In late 2019 they released Behind The Sash - a 10 part humanitarian series currently available on AACTV & Virgin Inflight entertainment.

Parents to three beautiful children Jason, River & Nevaeh, Chico & Danielle continue on the pursuit of truth & revelation through music, TV and film, enjoy travelling with their family and plenty of adventure.
